New Cellucor C4 Extreme Formula

One of the best pre-workout supplements on the planet has just got even better. CELLUCOR’s C4 EXTREME has managed to gain another advantage on other leading pre-workout supplements such as Jack3d. C4 Extreme used to contain the ingredient 1 3 dimethylamylamine, also known as Methylhexanamine (1,3 DMAA).
– 1 3 Dimethylamylamine: This happens to be used for a nasal decongestant, which was discovered and patended in 1944. Although it happens to be a natural extract from geranium flowers, it gives a huge burst of energy and focus. You might be thinking that this ingredient is a great advancement in the supplement industry, but you might think wrong. 1 3 dimethylamylamine is a vasoconstrictor! Wait a second…When you work out, aren’t you trying to get the biggest pump? Therefore, you wouldn’t want any vasoconstrictors in your pre-workout supplements, you’d only want vasodialators, such as L-arginine. Research has also shown that when consumed in large doses, it can create some serious problems for male users. Erectile dysfunction has been increasing in larger numbers of 1 3 dimethylamylamine. Not only does it cause health issues, but it also happens to be banned from large numbers of sports organizations such as NCAA.
– CELLUCOR’S C4 EXTREME has completely removed 1 3 dimethylamylamine from it’s new forumla! I was lucky enough to get a full tub of the new formula without the 1 3 DMAA for testing. I received the Fruit Punch flavor again, and was extremely excited to try it without the 1 3 DMAA. I was a little skeptical after reading how the 1 3 DMAA has such an effect on energy. But after I tried just 1 scoop, I was blown away! I still managed to get HUGE pumps, along the same amount of energy, if not even better! I felt like the energy was cleaner, perhaps it was in my head, but my body just felt like a machine running much more efficiently.

ATTENTION: In my next few blogs, I will be reviewing Cellucor’s other top pre-workout – M5 Extreme. Also, I will be testing out the new flavors of the C4 Extreme – Pink Lemonade and Icy Blue Razz! I have tried the Fruit Punch, and it’s been the best flavored pre-workout I have ever tasted. Orange is yet to be tested, but the Pink Lemonade and Icy Blue Razz will be shipped out to me in the next few weeks for testing, and I will definitely be trying as soon as possible just to let you guys know how awesome the flavors will be and what to expect!

Kettle Bells

Kettle bells can help with fitness functionality, and can help develop a much more rounded athlete. One thing I’m going to start doing is heavy kettle bell swings, cleans, presses, and snatches. The kettle bell swings can help hamstring, glut, and even lower back development. Not only does it improve endurance and strength, but can also improve stability and balance. I’ve done swings before, but have never been on a full routine. I’m going to experiment and see how my body reacts, how my legs develop and keep a log on everything.

I’m looking to do a day with deadlift, hang clean, kettle bell variations with swings and cleans, etc. possibly throw in some more power movements for back and hamstrings. I will hopefully get a post up this week with video, and possibly some pictures. Got a shipment from bodybuilding.com coming in that I will also share with you guys! Stay tuned, sorry for the lack of posts due to school and work.
