Blasting the Back

This is the back workout I performed today, and I’ve been seeing great results. Since my hamstring is injured, I can’t do hang clean, which happens to be my favorite exercise. So I stuck with a basic workout centered around pull ups. Stay tuned, I’ll update this and post my workout.

Let’s Hit a Starting Point

Let’s start with the raw facts. Everyone wants to “get big” and “get ripped” but who is willing to put forth the time and effort in achieving so? If you aren’t serious about changing your life to the way YOU want it, then you should just exit out of this site right now. First of all, weightlifting and fitness is all about yourself. You must have the WANT to get better. You must have the DRIVE to get better. But what relies on all of this is the MINDSET. If you want to change your life, you can’t rely on “miracle” protein powders and “fat melting” pills. You have to set a definite goal, one you can reach with hard work and dedication. Face the facts, you’ll have to do this the old fashioned way, with blood, sweat, and tears. Do you want to wake up every morning and hate what you see in the mirror? Or do you want to wake up and feel great about yourself? Trust me, knowing you are improving upon yourself each and every day will fuel your drive. Being dedicated and devoted in the gym doesn’t only improve your physical being, but will continue once you leave that gym and improve your mental challenges and help you through adversity. Life is what you make of it. Get off of the couch, stop making excuses and change yourself for good. Stay updated and check back regularly to see my progress. I’ll be talking about supplements (protein, pre-workout, etc), recipes, running workouts, bodybuilding, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and much more. There will be topics for everyone to benefit from. Stay tuned and keep pumping the iron!
